With indirect level gauges, the water level is transmitted by a magnetic flap indication ledge attached to the water column.
Electronic water level indication is primarily done by the electronic water level indicator. These level indicators are used not only for remote level indication but also for water level control, as well as a limiter in the case of too low or too high water levels (Multicontrol).
